XRHA’s partnership with Royal Free London’s innovation team began in December 2021, following publication of The Growing Value of XR in Healthcare. The collaboration explored an XR strategy and the potential for a centre of excellence.
Strategy, connections and implementation
Our support covered strategy development, links to industry and academic expertise, funding opportunities, and practical guidance on XR hardware and software.
Areas of work
The collaboration included patient and staff wellbeing, physiotherapy and pain support, clinical skills and staff training, alongside guidance to help teams adopt XR technology.
